Jeffrey loves to read, especially mysteries. He spent this summer reading detective stories so that he could become a detective, just like Nate the Great and Encyclopedia Brown. He solved his first mystery this summer by helping Tyler find a piece to his RC truck. At first he was going to charge him a dollar, but then realized that he didn’t need to charge his family members.
.
Last year for Halloween he dressed up as Nate the Great.
Some detective books that he has read include:
- Nate the Great
- Cam Jansen
- Encyclopedia Brown
- Joe Sherlock
- Jigsaw Jones
- Flatfoot Fox
- Hank the Cow Dog
- Clue Jr.
- Boxcar Children
- Hardy Boys
- Nancy Drew
- Sam Hawkins Pirate Detective
- A-Z Mysteries
Jeffrey, If you like mysteries, then I suggest you read “Half Moon Investigations” by Eoin Colfer. It is a good mystery and a fun read that you shouldn’t have much trouble digging up at a library. Apparently, the BBC also created a TV series based upon it.
