Kate’s Skating Party

Filed under: Hale — liz @ 6:58 pm

Katelyn will turn 4 on Jan. 3rd so we had a skating party to celebrate!  It was lots of fun with all my brothers and sisters home for Christmas.  We love it when we can get all the cousins together at once.  I think everyone was there except for Andy who had to work!  I can’t wait to go back when I’m not pregnant so I can be a little less cautious and have more fun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATE!

Grandpa and Grandma Lewis

Here is a pictutre that Shawn Bounty (a friend of the family) drew for Grandma.  For Christmas, the grandkids had it framed.  We are looking forward to one of Grandma to go with it!

Christmas!

Filed under: Hale — liz @ 11:02 pm

Traditionally, my siblings all wake up at my parents house for Christmas morning.  The last few years haven’t worked out for everyone but this year we were able to all be there.  Most everyone slept out at the property, but Aimee and I live the closest so we stayed at our own houses and headed out there in the morning.

Here the kids are waiting for everyone to arrive - very content in front of a Christmas special, probably Rudolph or something.

Once they got the okay, they all lined up to head out for the fun.

I love the craziness of Christmas morning! And the rest of the day (as the say) “is history” . . .

Jeffrey’s Baptism

…..Jeffrey had a great day.  Andy baptized and confirmed him.  Lots of family and friends were able to come.  Bishop Richards conducted the meeting, Aunt Aimee led the music, Uncle Glen and Marcie gave the talks on Baptism and the Holy Ghost, President Jensen spoke at the end and Jeffrey’s best buddy Keith gave the closing prayer.

We had a nice lunch after the baptism at the Sauls.  They are always so kind and generous.  We love having them as extended grandparents.

Gingerbread (Rice Crispy Treat) Houses

Filed under: Hale — liz @ 11:58 pm

We had the Richards over to decorate rice crispy treat houses.  The kids all had so much fun.  You should have seen their eyes when I brought out all the candy!
